I'm Mike and I live in Colorado Springs. I got my Prius the Friday before Thanksgiving. Tis a Tideland Pearl (I don't remember the package codes now).

I originally opted for the cheapest package with SSE due to cost. Luckily for me, I got a BIG promotion amd was better able to afford the car.

Again, luckily for me, the salesman was deaf. We chatted quite a bit and I helped him with his sign language. I kept calling him asking after my car. He gave me a better package for $21k. This package has VSC and more airbags. That's all I remember right now.

Glad to have you, Mike. What are your initial thoughts on the car?

that they're too expensive for the common person. I am remodeling a golf cart in the hopes of someday making it street legal.

Hah, good luck with that nomadstardancer. I'd like to see that. What are the qualifications to make it street legal?

Question Re: Mike

The main thing stopping me getting the golf cart legal is that it needs front brakes and also batteries as I burnt them up when I added a bottom plate to the golf cart to protect the wires and etc.? how do they protect the batteries on other electric vehicles and keep them from over heating?

Congrats on the new car Mike. I dream of one day owning a Prius, or a plug-in hybrid... but that's far off for me. Still working on building my own career first and saving up wisely. But in the meantime, it's nice to live vicariously through new and old owners.
