Nope, they haven't given me a date except to say (and this came from the sales manager as well) 6-8 weeks, and I ordered it last Sunday. I didn't proofread my post eariler and accidentally said 5-8 but yeah, its 6-8. Still, i don't think so...

Now that's news I didn't want to hear, that they are redesiging then in 07. I figured they'd get at least 4-5 years out of the current one. If I could wait one more year for the new ones I would but the car I need now needs tires, brakes, an alignment etc soon and rather then do all that work I just want to trade it in and use that money towards something new...

Yeah, i think its cool to drive everyday for work. DEP in NYC has a huge fleet of vehicles and many of them are first gen prius'. 2nd gen prius' and now the escapes. Then they have the other side of the spectrum and everything else are superduty ford f 250's etc!
