Hello From Long Island New York, 2006 Civic Hybrid
My wife and I purchased a 2006 Civic Hybrid Sedan with Navigation today and can't wait until next Friday when we pick it up.
Because we can use the HOV lane on the Long Island Expressway (where I currently commute and where she will commute once we move), with gas prices as high as they are, with the tax credit and the cool styling of the Civic Hybrid, we've decided to go Hybrid. Plus we can use regular fuel which we can't with our outgoing lease of our 2003 Acura TL Type-S.
We look forward to participating here and posting our mileage!!

Good for you for picking the *superior* hybrid instead of that nasty Prius
Just kidding, Prius owners. Just kidding
There are many threads here about driving technique so feel free to study a bit before you take your exam at the dealer Remember that the engine isn't broken in yet and you may not get incredible mileage for awhile so you must be patient. To paraphrase "Field of Dreams", if you drive it, the MPG will come.
