My wife and I are happy owners of 2 Escape Hybrids as of about 3 weeks ago. Mine is black and hers is Silver, both 4WD. She had an '03 Escape and I had an '04 Chevy Colorado crew cab pickup. I loved the truck, but hated filling it twice a week with ~19 gallons of gas each time. The dealership here gave us an awesome deal on the trade-ins and also knocked off a chunk more for getting the pair at the same time. I commute 60 miles each way and she goes about 35 miles each way so the savings in fuel costs will be significant. Already learned a bunch since I signed up here and I think I just might be a regular.

 

Welcome to the board. I have found this site to be a great source of info, ideas, tips, tricks and so forth. Every now and then I toss in a couple cents worth.

Also, welcome the the two-hybrid-Escape-owners club......

I loved the '05 so much I bought an '06 to go with it. Traded in a perfectly good, although thirsty, '04 Escape with under 10k on it. Had I known then what I know now, I'd have waited and bought two of the '06. Minor stuff but would have been worth the wait.....
