Unproven article. What if the electricity was produce via solar panels? Or if sonar panels on your home recharged the PHEV? Or if the wind turbines produced the electricity?

Michigan Public Service Commission is studying the effect of PHEVs on the power grid. Some of the articles I found on Google news used the word "investigation", implying some sort of nefarious activity on the part of rogue bandits with PHEVs.
As I read the press release, it seems the MPSC is behaving prudently by studying the effects and seems very encouraging and supportive of PHEVs plugging in.
