I have a Honda Insight 2010 for a little more than 2 months, and I just had a very odd problem. About 10 minutes ago I was getting out of the car I tried to open the doors with the switch inside the car, it made some weird electrical sound and didn't open. The I open manually, got out and locked the car. I had to come back to pick up something and the car simply wont open anymore.

There's a red light that usually keeps blinking at the panel and I noticed that it is not blinking anymore. Is it a battery issue???

How can I open the car????

Did anyone had this problem before??

I went to work this afternoon, and stop for shopping after, everything was ok with the car. It doesn't make any sense that the battery just died. So how will I be able to open the car again??? Is it enough to call a locksmith?

 

So I was able to open the car with the help of some friends. What actually is happening is that the drivers door is stuck in locked position and it's not opening.
The security system light was off because the door was "unlocked", when I lock with the key, the light turns on again. So it's not battery.
I had to switch off the battery of the the car because the anti-theft system was sounding the horn, and even if I turn the car on, the horn keeps sounding as if the car was broken because it is locked.

How to fix that?

is it possible to be just a fuse problem???

 

It's not a fuse problem at all and I think a locksmith can also fix door lock problems.

 

You can also fix it without hiring a locksmith, check the manual and do the fuse replacement easily.
