Anyone know what happened to InsightCentral.net? Appears they're on a temporary hiatus? Curious, as they haven't updated in a long while and I thought it was going down the tubes...

 

It has been down at least since yesterday afternoon.

 

There was some discussion that it had been hacked and it is down for security updates.

___Yes, the main page was hacked/diverted as well as the server being compromised. Some of the Insightcentral.net mods were passing on info on this saying the site would be down for a few days just before it went down and will be back after a move to a new server? I suspect that a lot of posts will be lost as did the Insight database the last time this happened about 6 + months ago

Posts shouldn't be lost as long as they backup often. I download the GreenHybrid databases every few days.

___For whatever reason, the last time Insightcentral.net’s server was hit, it lost quite a few including its Insight Mileage Database. It was far cruder then what you have created but it had a ton of Insight’s posted and unfortunately, they are now gone forever

___By the way, Yves (one of the mod’s over there) posted in the Yahoo-Honda-Hybrid group that it is back up in a limited fashion but no forum or home page shows just yet. Hopefully within the hour or so, they will be back …

___I’ll be ****ed! It isn’t the final as I was in the one that was axed in July or so of this year but from 05/2003, it has quite a few of those Insight’s that were deleted.

___When they are back up, I will link your archived page to see if Benjamin will place it back in?
