A rear window wiper would be nice. The Prius has one.

Re: Wishlist for '07
Good suggestion so far I won't repeat.
Note: I had an 04 HCH I am comparing my 06 to.
I'm glad the car does NOT have rear window wiper.
They look ugly, create drag, break in a couple years and don't do much.
THe mirror adjust and the doorlock buttons are similar and too close together - I get them confused.
Move one onto the dash or up near to mirror.
Put a green LED in the AC button like the 04 had - it is hard to read the AC ON in the LCD display.
When the “MODE” swith is set to direct air onto the windshield the car does not autostop.
Rename the "MODE" button Air Direction- better yet make it a dial like in the 04.
You can't adjust the temp unless you turn the fan on.
The fan, even at the lowest speed, is much more noisey than the 04 was.
Frankly the climate control in the 04 was 100 times more understandable.
Give up on this "We will think for you" design approach that limits operator options.
Trust us - we have brains - we bought Hondas
Example don't make the air conditioner come on when all I wanted to do was change the direction of the air.
Standard leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift ****.
Redesign fan vents for front windshield - they don't do a good job of clearing fog from the top of the windshield - maybe a couple vents at the top?
Car frame support struts on both sides of the windshield are very thick and almost horizontal so they create dangerous blind spots.
I don't like having to press a button to toggle between temp and MPG.
It is also dangerous to take eye off road to push another button.
Add a gauge to the display - there is plenty of space.
Angle part of dash with radio and climate system towards driver - like BMW does.
There is frequently no passenger, but there is ALWAYS a driver.
Cater to the driver.
The passenger won't like it but it is more likely that the driver makes the car-buying decisions.
It is hard to crack the window just an inch.
The motors move the window too quickly.
Make the switches pressure sensitive.
Press hard = fast
Press light = slow
The sun visors need pull-out extensions for when the sun is to your left and behind your head but still shinning in your eyes - much cheaper American cars have these.

One button per function please.
An AM button, and a separate FM button.
And only one FM button.
I don’t know anyone with more than 5 presets.
FM1 and FM2 is just extra hassle.
Every time I have to change the time I have to look in the owner’s manual.
How bout a button labeled “Change Time”?
I have dark blue upholstery.
But door armrest is light in color so it will get dirty quickly.
Make it dark blue also.
The Civic horn sounds very wimpy.
Give us the beefy horn in the Accord.
Then we won't be too embarrased to use it.

My only want for this car is a radio with better reception. My wife's Accord gets stations much better than my HCH-II. I don't need any more bells or whistles - just decent reception.
