Default Tinting

Based upon our 2,000 mile family road trip last week, it became obvious that I need to tint the windows in our car (it was REALLY warm in the back seat). I saw a post a while back which mentioned "Best Window Tinting" in Tustin as a good place to go in So. Cal. Does anyone have other recommendations for tinting places in Orange County? Trying to keep this in the $150 range. Thanks.

Not the cheapest, but one of the best:

http://www.thetintpros.com/flash.html

There are coupons on the site and they are located in Huntington Beach. Good luck.

The type of tint you use they say can make a difference too. I bought the 'Cold Steel'. It is suppose to block out a lot more heat even though it isn't as dark, and by the demonstration in the shop, it did seem to work very well.

I was thinking these guys too. I haven't used them. Whoever you wind up using if you wouldn't mind giving us the 411 and price. Thanks.

I had my EX Sedan tinted two or so weeks ago. It wasnt cheap. The tint is good and I like it alot. Its was done with 35% 3M CS on the sides and rear window. The sunroof was done in 35% Huper Optics. Had a strip put on the windsheild 8" wide done in 3m CS 20%

I paided $223 for the job on the Civic. We also had our 05 Accord EX Sedan done the same way and its held up good.

If I could afford it, I would have done the Huper Optics on both cars.

Is there a "tint" that blocks heat and UV but not light?

I have glaucoma and my vision is not as good at night as it used to be.
