WELL
I got my new plate yesterday. Tax and tag $758.00. Wish I had a SUV to run thru the Oklahoma tax comm. office!!!!! I drove a car thru a house on LSD in 1978 so I do have experance at it.
The paint was awful on the tag... blotchy, missing, smeared. I know the tag agent wont exchange or replace the sucky tag. So I took matters into my own hands.
Heres a pic of the tag before rework. Sorry the photo is soooo bad.
Heres the tag all taped, sanded and cleaned up ready for paint.
Tag all done in its NEW frame with clear cover.

You were right the paint was Pitiful on Plate:
However; what a truly Beautiful Refinish Paint Job on Plate.
All, Honda Civic isn't Bad Looking either, with it's New Painted/Refinished Plate.
