short aux cable
I looked for a short aux cable everywhere and could not find one.
Finally, I just bought a longer cable, cut it to about 5 inches and then soldered a mini plug to the end. So for those of you who want a short, custom length cable it is not very difficult to do. Just make sure you buy a stereo mini plug.
Also, for those of you who don't like the power plugged into the dash and don't want to run to the fuse box or splice wires, the center console comes off very easily. I just made a tiny hole next to the power outlet in the arm rest and ran the wire to the front. I probably would never use that outlet and I can't see it, so plugging it there doesn't bother me.

You would think that there would be a market for short cables like this since more cars now have aux inputs.
