The wait is killing me, especially since the city and stop and go driving here in LA drops my mileage by about 3.5mpg in my Element! Just knowing that the HCH has auto-stop makes me even for antsy!

Hang in there....my Dad came by yesterday to check out my '06 and he is anxious, he was considering getting another color. I convinced not to settle and to wait for exactly what he wanted. After all, I picked up my car just in time to put it in the garage for the blizzard!

The magnetic pearl is absolutely beautiful, it'll be well worth the wait.

my 06 MP was built on Jan 17th and I ordered on JAN 1st. It shipped on Jan 30th and arrived Feb 13th. I am picking it up tomorrow! So it took 1 and 1/2 months to get from time of order - hope to give a first report on mileage tomorrow! -hang in there, good things come to those who wait!

Great! Looking forward to hearing your impressions....

I'm still feeling out my '06, to me there's a huge difference between my old '04 and my new '06. As far as mileage goes, I'm not doing so well...my commute is short and with lots of hills, on top of that the temps have been very cold here.
