Hi all,

I am the proud owner of 2 new hybrid cars! 08 Civic Hybrid and 08 Prius.
Got the civic last monday, I traded a 2007 Mazda CX-7 (Prem gas and only 22 mpg) and the Prius on friday traded a 06 Honda CRV (nice car but only about 24-25 mpg)

I did a lot or research on here. Just wanted to say thinks for helping me make the choice I made!

Little bit of both. We took the prius on a road trip to Nashville on sat got about 42 MPG going about 75 mph. Very happy when you look at the other 2 cars!

Both my wife and I have to travel on the highway for about 10-15 miles each way to work. So the gas was killing us.

 

Welcome! I'm always interested to hear people's thoughts on the differences between those two cars and what works better for them from each. I look forward to your thoughts about this once you've broken them both in.

 

Which (of the two) do you like more at this point?

Once i have broken them in I will post for sure! 1st impressions though. The civic feels a little more sporty. The Prius feels really nice on the highway. I really like Toyota display. The tech side of me like the Prius better, but I am a car person so the car side of me likes the Civic better prob due to the more sporty feel.

The most important thing is I am happy with my choice. Both cars are great and I am already loving the extra $$$$
