Default New '06 HCH Owner As of last night

I just picked up my '06 HCH in Mag. Pearl last night.
Drives much better than the '05 I test drove.

>Splash Guards
>Navi

Any questions that I could answer about the car? I would be glad to help if I can.

Have a Navi in my '04 Pilot, the HCH Navi is much nicer with more options and better detail in graphics and function.

Congrats! You've got the car I was SUPPOSED to have by now.

but...I added fog lights and the interior illumuination kit to my order. Hopefully It'll be here by spring!

Did you get the XM option? I have been wondering if the system lets you give voice commands for changing XM stations.

Congradulations!

Question for both of you, how much did they charge for installation of your fog lights and splash guards?

Hey Matt;

Way to go big guy. Another very happy and satisfied HCH ll owner.

Congrats;

Terry

BTW, Don't have questions but what about in general, what do you like about the car? All was that a Question?

Matt,

Congrats on the new car! I hope the car exceeds your expectations. A few questions:
1. What kind of tires came on yours?
2. Are you in northern or southern PA?
3. Do you get lots of snow there?
4. What's your combined mileage so far?

I'm near Jamestown, NY. I think the temp and snow are lowering my mileage.
I'm getting almost 42 MPG. Could be better, BUT twice what I was getting with my '03 Forester and '96 Outback!

Best wishes,

I'll check my order sheet and let you know. I do know that the 2nd dealer I ordered the car from charged me LESS than the first. I thought there was supposed to be a standard formula for accessory installs that is given to the dealers from Honda. (i.e. splash-guards = .5 hr labor, etc)

Lets see if I can answer all of these in one post.

>Cost for splash guards was $50 flat fee.

>The Radio is "XM Ready" but I did not buy an XM unit for it.
I would assume that you could voice command the XM as you can for everything else in the radio/heater/navi. etc.

>I live in Fitchburg, MA (North central MA) we can get some good snow up here.
>Dunlops were on the car upon delivery-haven't checked the exact model.
>Mileage right now is at about 38.5 MPG. (Still figuring the car out.)
>General things I immediately like about the car:
-Typical Honda quality. Car is tight and quiet. Fit and finish are excellent.
-Easy to drive, I don't have to think about the whole hybrid thing, just drive.
-Controls are intuitive and everything is well placed.
-multiple guage/odometer/mpg/temp etc. settings make it nice to change info you are looking for.
-Navi is faster and newer graphics better depict map and details than '04 Pilot Navi. (Which is still a good navi system)

Thanks For The Warm Welcome
