Need advice
When I first picked up the car at the dealership, it had 4 miles on it. When I drove it home, it had 43 miles on it. I still considered the car is "new".
I would say take it and enjoy it!

Mine had about 50 becuase it had to be driven from another dealer that was a bit away and while they were driving it to me they realised that it was the wrong color, started driving it back and called and said it is ok. When I said yes, they starting bringing it to me again. So, mine made 1.5 trips to me. What can really be done to it in 40 miles?
They really should be moved on flatbeds between dealers and not driven! Mine had 7 miles and I drove about 3 of them on my familiarisation run.
On the other hand when you take a loan car at say an airport these days they drive like new even with several thou miles on the clock.
Whereas some years ago cars quickly lost their tune. I well remember taking a car for service and finding it barely recognisable afterwards because of the "adjustments " which the mechanics made to the timing, plug gaps and carburettor. Thank goodness the manafacturers and technological advances have stopped all that!
