NBW WORLD RECORD - 120 mile per gallon in a 2003 Civic hybrid!!!!
There's no doubt about it - I set a new world record in my 2003 Civic!!!
Here's how I did it...............I drove down to Texas (with the a/c on!) and when I got to Dennison on U.S. 69 I filled up at the first gas station I saw. It must have been some KILLER gas, because from there to Caddo Mills and back to Illinois I got an ASTOUNDING 120 miles per gallon!!!!
They say a picture says a thousand words so look at the picture of my speedometer and you'll see the truth. Oh - I forgot to mention - wen I got to Caddo I bought a Dodge diesel 4x4 and towed the Honda home with it!!!!!!!!!!! Ya ' suppose that had anything to do with the killer mileage? I think it probably wouild have been even higher, but the meter maxes out at 120!!
