I can't see why the pzev has a different size tank. the 2 engines are different, but even if they're physically different in size, or have different emmision equipment, that's all up front and the tank is in the back- so why change tanks?

ANYWAY- CONGRATS JOSH on your 700 mile tank. so how often are you going to the gas station?!!?

Well, today I was able to get 56.3 mpg round trip by increasing tire pressure to 42 psi. (i meant to increase to 44, but i forgot that warmed tires means elevated pressure, so what i thought was 44 psi was 42 psi cold)

Kate, I think both of us should be able to get 600 mile tanks by simply increasing tire pressure to the max sidewall 44 psi (or 51 psi if you have dunlops and not b381s like me) looks like that and using a couple more tricks can get us both to 600 miles.
