If my assumption is correct, the serial # everyone is talking about is at the end of the VIN. In that case, my serial # is 10731. I took delivery of my HCH II Friday March 10, and haven't seen the 63 bug. My mpg is pretty consistent.

Well, I finally got my car today. Have only driven it about 6 miles, but I really like it already. Tonight I'll read the manual. Ser # is 11635. Alabaster Silver, no nav... Oh, and I paid MSRP.

I can one up you. I've got 7969, bought in early January, 2006. And as far as I know (from what some dealer said that didn't sound like he knew what he was talking about), I don't have the bug.
