Re: its nice to be 62 mile bug free
I called my dealer's service department today; they have never seen my car as I bought it 300 miles away. I walked him through the info I learned here ("check the updates....no- don't just reset it, that doesnt work...check for a March update to replace the cluster...yes that's the one; here is my VIN, see if it matches....good, you can order it...great, it will be in on Tuesday...ok, schedule me for Wednesday...thanks" ) That was it! Saved alot of aggravation and he appreciated knowing he would hear from others.

Well, I finally got my HCHII back after a week in the shop to do a 2 hour job. I'm not sure exactly whose fault that was, but I'm glad to have it back, especially with gas at $2.90 around here now. I really don't know yet if the actual bug is fixed, as I haven't driven it 62 miles yet. I can't imagine that its not though.

Re: its nice to be 62 mile bug free
Well I had my "bug" taken care of this morning. The invoice says that they performed operation "06013A" and that it took 1/2 hour. Makes me wonder if there are multiple parts of the 06-013 bulletin (because of the "A") that different cars require different procedures. They did have to order a part - SPO 04782-SNC-A11.
Wondering if this matches with what anybody elses invoice says?
Will report later if the problem is actually fixed. The dealer did properly reset my odometer and oil life meter, but the Trip A and Trip B both read the same as the odometer - so I just reset them.

Mine says same part no as yours, and references bulletin 06-013. I would guess that the A refers to an update to the bulletin. The procedure my dealer used didn't work, and they had to send my guage cluster back to Honda to get it right.

Re: its nice to be 62 mile bug free
Well I'm happy to report another success story. I am bug free. Went over 62 miles last night and no reset! Happy days are here again..... (OK perhaps I'm easily amused....)
Looking forward to knowing my tank mileage BEFORE I fill up.
