My Dad's MP '06 HCH w/ Navi just came in yesterday....when we go pick it up, I'm going to see if I can set up an appointment to get it fixed.

If you're just picking it up, you might not have the bug Renato. Apparently, a lot of cars built after a certain date don't have it. I don't know if mine does or not, it was built in December of '05.

You can call any Honda dealer and give them your VIN.
They will tell you if you have the bug.
I don't think you will ever get any notice.
This is not considered a recall since it is not safety related.
The first dealer I called said I didn't need the update, but he also sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about, seeing as how he told me I should change my oil every 5,000 miles and get it serviced every 10,000 miles....yeah, sure buddy....
