Do you know, I was in a "Wimpy's" burger place in London, and learned that a robber had held up the establishment by taking all the employees into the back room, and super-glueing their hands to the floor. The thief emptied the cash register while the employees were attached to the floor, and then escaped.

Customers came into the store and were confused that no employees were present, until they heard their shouts from the back room.

Humbly submitted for your amusement. Don't blame me for the wild tangent -- Sledge started it!

My Dad's MP '06 HCH w/ Navi just came in yesterday....when we go pick it up, I'm going to see if I can set up an appointment to get it fixed.

If you're just picking it up, you might not have the bug Renato. Apparently, a lot of cars built after a certain date don't have it. I don't know if mine does or not, it was built in December of '05.

You can call any Honda dealer and give them your VIN.
They will tell you if you have the bug.

I don't think you will ever get any notice.
This is not considered a recall since it is not safety related.

Maybe the service advisor was being lazy, but he said he couldn't look up the VIN without manually inputting all my info into the computer....

The first dealer I called said I didn't need the update, but he also sounded like he didn't know what he was talking about, seeing as how he told me I should change my oil every 5,000 miles and get it serviced every 10,000 miles....yeah, sure buddy....
