The OEM tires perform OK (meaning drive well below the speed limit) in the snow, only if brand new. Otherwise they are not that great. I have 2 sets of tires (2 sets of rims). I bought a set of civic HX rims (they actually look nicer IMO) and put a set of Blizzaks snow tires for the winter month. With those tires, the car handles like it is on rails in the snow. BTW gas mileage does not suffer due to the tires. It does suffer in the cold and the winter blend gas.

Mobil-1 oil 0W-20 is actually better than the Honda 0W-20 and is what I'm about to put in my car. I have also changed to Mobil 1 Oil filters as well because they are superior in every respect to the OEM honda oil filter.

Cabin filter is good for 30K miles. It is located in the glove box (actually in back of the glove box). You have to remove 2 stoppers to get at the filters. I took mine out at 15K miles and vacuumed out any debri. I replaced the filter at 30K miles as recommended in manual.

Oh and BTW, my Blizzaks are not LRR tires. In fact the OEM tires are not LRR tires. You will notice a slight increase in gas mileage by going with 36psi in the OEM tires. The Blizzacks have a max PSI of 30ish so I wouldn't go beyond that. I hear of people running 40psi+ which is ridiculous and not safe. But hey I'm all for making the human genome pool smarter by letting the stupid die off.
