Default Highway or Not?

If you had the option of getting to your destination via highway or city streets, which would you choose? (Assuming travel time is not a factor)

Would you choose the highway because it's typically better for the engine, or would you choose the streets because there are more regen opportunities?

I know the estimated rating between highway and city in a HCH is pretty much the same, so I'm just curious why someone would choose one over the other.

Answer;

I choose to go to work each day on a Two_lane road with a speed limit starting at 40 MPH and then it changes to 55 MPH for part of the way.

Reason; I Hate having to run my vehicles wide open or close to that to merge onto the Interstate. It is not a very relaxing drive to work with everyone driving like they are trying to get away from a Nuclear-Bomb that just went off behind them.

So, the Two Lane more normal relaxed drive is for me.
