Default Help HCH problems

Help every morning when I go to start my car the battery is dead and the car has to be jumped. My brake, ABS and IMA lights come on after it's jumped but if I pull the fuse for the abs relay the lights shut off and don't come back on most of the time. Should I have the ABS checked or is it an issue with the IMA battery? My car does not have a check engine light nor is it throwing any codes. The car has 112000 on it and has a brand new optima battery. thank you for the help.

Sounds like you need a new 12V battery. Have you checked the voltage in the morning with a voltage meter? Voltage should be 12v or more after sitting over night! H

That is good! What made you suspect the air condition had a short. That is a new one! H

I did an amperage draw check with a multimeter. And pulled fuses till I found the the circuit that had the draw when I pulled the A/C compressor fuse it dropped to .02 A the draw when the fuse is in is 3.80 A. I was just being lazy and wanted to see what the suggestions were.

Well thanks for the info. I wounder why it is drawing power when the ignition is off. Is the air conditioner still putting out when you replace the fuse? I have a 06 HCH2 has well and it has been a trouble free auto thus far! H
