HCH owner sues Honda over mileage claims

Re: HCH owner sues Honda over mileage claims
The McDonald's case WAS a frivolous lawsuit. How stupid do you have to be to place anything hot between your legs while DRIVING. I can see if an employee of McDonald accidently spilt hot coffee on somebody's lap. But please, this is what is WRONG with America. Nobody wants to take responsiblility for their own actions, it is always somebody else's fault.
For starters, it wasn't the driver, it was the passenger.

Time for some homework: Liebeck v. McDonald's Restaurants
For starters, it wasn't the driver, it was the passenger.

Nowhere does it mention that the coffee machine was broken and superheating the water. Superheated water is water heated to above it's normal boiling point, I doubt that is even possible with McDonald's coffee makers.
Still frivolous to me, I value my groin too much to take dangerous chances like that.

Hahaha... You guys are so far off topic. I did enjoy reading about that coffee case though. In my opinion, she had more of a right to sue than the MPG guy.
Have there been any updates on his case?
