Great Deals on 2007s In Northern Cal
If you don't care about model year, it seems to be a buyer's market for new 2007 HCHs in No. Cal. I just bought one Wednesday. Got it for
$19.8K, including destination, so that nets out to $17.7K after the tax credit. I got that on a clean deal (no trade-in, didn't buy any warranties or accessories). Many dealers have a half dozen on their lots, so color selection is not a problem.
I love it so far, but am still learning driving technique. I've read many of posts. There's seems to be a big diversity in how to get best mpg. Any tips are appreciated!!

Yup, good deal. In August I got my 2007 for right at 20.4K with everything including 6 year, 120K extended warranty, taxes, tags, the whole enchilada.
No financing, just straight buy.
Nice job

****! Great deal! I'm in N. CA and I just saw the 2nd commercial for the HCH in the past couple of days. The first was the Honda Clearance Event showing several Honda fuel efficient models including the HCH, and showing 2.9 financing.
The second I just saw right before Jay Leno started tonight. I know it's probably been out for a few weeks, but as much as I watch TV this is the first time I've seen it. I started laughing at it - it basically made fun of the Prius commercials with everything moving backwards and everyone holding "No" signs (Instead of the Prius, Yes signs)... meaning "Does it mean you need to drive a hybrid shaped like a cheese wedge" Their new motto for the HCH: "Go green, Go in style". They even stated the obligatory $2,100 tax credit , and also still show 51mpg and in the fine print "Based on 2007 EPA"... but the Prius commercials are still touting 60mpg. I'm just finally glad to see commercials for the HCH that:
a) don't subdue the hybrid or mention it for 1 second and give spotlight to other Honda vehicles;
b) don't make it look like a hippie/treehugger car;
c) are fitting into the mainstream and poking a little fun at the competition;
d) actually make sense.
I found the commercial link on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mwILvtXpZoE
