I have had my HCHII since Nov 07. I got a great price, as I got it after the first gas price increase. I feel that now is the right time again, as gas prices seem to be going up, not enough for the price gouging to start though. I would buy a HCHII again if I need to even without the tax break.

Default consider a NAH?

Not to meaning to thread crap, but people are reporting screaming deals on the NAH at https://www.greenhybrid.com/discuss/f58/ partly due to the $3250 incentive (I just confirmed it at http://local.nissanusa.com/west/altima-hybrid.html for the 95120 zip code). NAH federal tax credit per http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/tax_hybrid.shtml is still $2350.

You might consider this if you live in a CARB state where NAHs are available.

http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/c...ient-cars-206/ shows how it stacks up to the HCH in terms of mileage. (The Priuses reported there are the 2nd gen 04 to 09 model.)

The NAH has 198 net hp and it's almost a rocket ship compared to my 06 Prius.
