Default eeny meeny miney mo

Okay all you HCH II owners! Of all the available options for the '06 Civic Hybrid, which ones are most necessary or useful? Which ones would you get again? Which ones would you not get again? Which ones do you wish you'd have gotten? Any ideas?

I think that the trunk tray, all weather mats, and mud flaps are must have's. Beyond that I like the fog lamps, chrome exhaust tip, and cargo net. depending on the color of the car and how crazy you want to get, the factory body kit and the 17" HPP (Honda Performance Parts) wheels really make the car stand out from the crowd.

Watch out for the FE hit with those big ol' wheels.

Trunk tray? I never saw that listed for the hybrid version, so I assumed that the battery pack changed the size / shape in the trunk and the standard tray didn't fit. Is that not the case? Does the tray really fit?

Auto dimming mirror is nice - it prevents my wife from using the darn thing backwards!?!?!?! (which drives me up a wall)

I would assume you are likely correct in that the truck tray would only be for non-hybrid models. I stand corrected.

I installed the trunk tray anyways. The back folded up to where it does not look to bad. I really needed something to protect the trunk, and it works fine.

All-weather mats are great!

Dash cover. Dark/dark grey for blue interior looks good.

That's it!

Backwards? How does one use a mirror "backwards"?

What the poster is refferring to is the mirror being manually flipped (switched?) to the night position to reduce glare, and then being adjusted up manually (ie. by hand, the next morning) instead of being flipped back in to daytime position.

Hope that made sense!

Absolutely. Thanks for the visual. I just wasn't tracking well on that one!
