Drive indicator light flashing
Hi guys, today out of nowhere my drive indicator light started flashing and car won't go over 3000rpm's. Turning car off and restarting clears both problems but starts again as soon as I put it in gear . Car will drive if I give it very little gas. The car is a 04 Honda Civic hybrid. Had transmission replaced last summer. No problems until today. Has anyone had similar problems or heard of this. Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Drive indicator light flashing
Flashing "D" indicates problem with the CVT (or an associated system).
Service manual indicates Honda Diagnostic System (HDS) should be used to read Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC).
Take it to the dealer for HDS or
Take it to O'Reilly (not autozone or anybody else) and have them read the DTC.
Google the DTC.
IMHO, if it wasn't replaced with a NEW Honda CVT, you likely have a bad CVT.
