Default Dang Flats! Full size spare does not fit in a HCH.

My stinking HCH is only a few months old and I have already picked up a nail. Because you are not to have a doughnut in the front I put the doughnut on the rear and the rear tire on the front in place of the flat one. Then I tried to put the flat tire where the spare goes and guess what? It does not fit. It looks like it might fit on a regular Civic but on the HCH the pack is in the way.

If they mounted the pack under the rear deck then the HCH could have fold down rear seats and perhaps a full size spare option. I hate doughnuts!

Dang, got another flat (nail) today. I'm sure it is just the construction in the new part of the subdivision not the high pressure, right?

I've run high pressures pretty much the entire time I've owned my Civic. I've picked up one nail (actually a screw) in 8.5 years. I actually got way more flat tires (3 in 2 years) with the cheap crappy tires on my old Nissan Maxima that was more often than not underinflated anyway.

Can you believe this crap!!!!!!

I just picked up another nail last night. These tires are gonna be more patches and plugs than original rubber.

Just for the record, for safety issues you are not suppose to put for then three plugs or patches per tire.
