Exterior temp is displayed in the hybrid with or without NAV

I have one without NAV and it does display exterior temp - but you have to press a button a few times to get it to display.

The exterior temp. should be displayed at a model with navi equiped.
I need this info so much that it may stop me from buying it...Please confirm since you do have the Navi.

Hey Guys;

You all did good. I think I will buy one of these for myself. All, thats right I already have , I just have to wait awhile Longer.

Say, I want to thank both of you guys for your reviews on the 06 HCH II. Nice to here that after people have spent their money that they are well satisfied with their decisions.

Say, if it is not to much trouble what are your Vin #'s ?

Mine is (JHMFA36266S010075) which makes mine the 10,075 HCH II Produced.

Thanks,

Terry

You're very welcome Terry....I am glad to share my thoughts as I am really happy with the car. My wife rode in it for the first time tonight, in the backseat with our 2 year old, and she said that the ride in the '06 is completely different from the '04, she found it much more comfortable, size-wise, and felt like a luxury car ride.

My Vin # is: JHMFA36206S004756...(double checked registration and window sticker)

Actually... I still believe that Toyota's system is somewhat better. But the prius looks odd and I dont fit right in it. I wish I had an IMA whit real propulsion, with a bigger battery and under 30 mph miles real EV, with the advanced HCH2 gas engine....

patents... patents...

tiger: hch2 is a very nice car. You will enjoy it, i'm sure... as I do...

Would some kind soul tell me what the MPH is per 1000 revs in top gear of the HCHII. It is always a useful guide to how relaxed the engine is when cruising?

That might be hard to find out given that it is a CVT.

Can you just say how many revs are required when cruising say at 60mph. If it is 3000 then mph per 1000 revs is 20. Better still if it is 2000 then it is 30 a nice high cruising gear. In days gone by I remember cars which needed 5000 rpm to maintain 80 mph and not only was it hard work, it sounded hellish!

It depends on if you are going uphill, downhill or flat.
