Default Clock display 2007 Civic Hybrid.

I know that if you don't say ok to the nag screen the unit goes to clock mode. Can you force it to clock mode if you want to instad of radio screen or navi after saying ok to the Nag?
How about getting rid of the Nag screen altogether???

Read the manual for your Nav screen as it details this. Select the "Setup" button and then "Clock" and while on the Clock screen you can even turn the entire display off.

There are other posts for hacking the Nag screen but I don't recommend it. The easiest thing to modify is the startup image though this is still very technical. I can post links to those articles but it took me several weeks reading through all the posts and ended up snapping off the DVD door for the GPS slot and that cost me another $10 to replace the part. Argh.

But, you can not get rid of the time it takes to go from Key on to Map display. This always takes 5-10 seconds and is interrupted with a Nag screen and OK button. You CAN delete the text of the Nag screen but you will still have to wait 5 seconds before you can hit the OK button.

Tried it. All that does is pick the kind of clock when displaying the clock. I want to press a button and diplay the clock. The only way I have been able to is to not say ok at nag screen

Go to Set Up, then Display Mode, there is an option for Clock (other options are "Auto," "Day," and "Night.") This results in the clock being the default screen.

Too bad you can't just press the small clock that appears on the map screen in order to get the full size version....

Thumbs up Re: Clock display 2007 Civic Hybrid.

That does work. I do hope Honda/Alpine realize how much work that is to take your eyes off the road that long to make a clock appear. Thanks. Now if we can only get rid of the Nag screen!!!
