I used to make fun of someone at work that bought 2 Accords at the same time. One got stolen from his driveway and he ended up buying a replacement with the Insurance money (3 Accords purchased in under 2 months... that was funny).

I hope mine don't get stolen or end up being the same colour because of availability... that wouldn't be funny .

Elan,

Thats the place !!!! Boydie was my salesman, helluva nice guy. Gave me food money to get something on the way back, gave me like 4 bottles of water to drive home with, and some bagels to munch on. He appreciated me sticking to my word and going to get the car. He was helpful, and nice to boot. I'm glad I got my car from there. I got my plates early this week, just put them on Wednesday.

So I finally saw the person who drives that Taffeta White HCH II that lives down the street from me on 3rd in La Verne. The lady who was driving it was an Asian lady, and she had 2 or 3 kids in with her. I immediately thought, its a nice family car too, apart from being sporty. In either case, I just realized, the house the car is always parked in front of is pretty grand, and the owners have like 4 cars....

Ok, SCARY story !!!!

I went to a friend's house the other night (Thursday), I met him through school (Cal Poly Pomona) in LBSA (Latino Business Student Association) and he lives off Wheeler and Via Arroyo. So the NAV tells me his house is about 50 feet before where it actually is, and I park accordingly. Well, it so happens that TWO HOUSES away, there is an '06 Hybrid in MAGNETIC PEARL, JUST LIKE MINE, parked in front of a house !!!! And whats even MORE trippy is that the owner had their windows tinted the EXACT same way as mine !!!! 5% in the back, 15% in the front !!!! And they had the carpool lane sticker already !!!! Man, I thought I was looking at a reflection of my car for a minute. So I was going to approach the car just to see if it had NAV, cuz then I'd be jealous, but I didn't want to seem like a prowler, so I didn't. It was SO WEIRD that I almost parked RIGHT next to it without knowing it, and that the car is SO SIMILAR looking to mine. It crazy to know there is another Magnetic Pearl in La Verne. Didn't think that day would come anytime soon....

I saw my FIRST HCH II on the road on Tuesday !!!! It was a Magnetic Pearl, just like mine. Looked like an asian lady was driving it. The car had its carpool lane stickers. Spotted her on the 605 South near the 105 intersection. Was on my way to a job interview which I got btw !!!! YAY !!!!

I had seen PLENTY of '06 HCH's (probably all of the folks who post here!) while I was awaiting delivery of mine. Seems they were out there taunting me! Now that I've got mine (silver with navi), I have yet to see another one... not even a non-hybrid '06. I know you're all out there somewhere!!!

If you see me on the 91 between Anaheim Hills and Cerritos, wave hello!!! I'm the one who's not yet in the carpool lane (darn stickers haven't come!) driving 58 - 61mph while everyone else tears past me at 90. (except when we're all stopped for traffic!)
