While on the topic of "Body Kit", I dont know if this still falls under the same category but I decided to use a little photoshop to help me imagine what it would look like.

My almost purchase that I am debating... it would be the MERRY X-mas gift for my Hybrid (18" HFP Honda rims)
So what do you guys/gals say ? Should I go purchase these or leave the car stock ? Anybody ever seen a hybrid on these rims ?

I've thought about those HFP rims, too. They make 'em in 17" and 18" (and in two colors, I think). I may do something like this WHEN my tires wear out (in a year or so). Keep in mind OUR hybrids have front disc, rear DRUM brakes, so the rears won't look quite as nice as they do on a car with rear discs. But I have always eyed them somewhat.
I also may just go with the (much less agressive) Civic EX wheels (& maybe tires). Takeoffs are available pretty cheap sometimes, via the dealer or on eBay.

Regarding the Mugen, I guess this was what they had in mind before they decided upon blue:

Looks to me like the final product was "toned-down" compared to the one shown in these pictures.

if you are wanting the most mpg for your car i wouldn't go for anything more than 16s. i had the ex wheels on my hchii and it really didn't effect the mpg. it is when you go with 17s and a wider tire the hurts it. i had light weight oz superleggra 17x8 wheels and that took a chunk of my mpg. here are pics of my 2006 and 2007 hchii.
i have pics of my si that is galaxy gray that the hfp wheels match perfectly. i also put them on my hybrid to see what they looked liked with the silver.

Re: Body Kit HCH II
changing wheels out have been talked about on this forum. if you want to upgrade getting the stock ex alloy wheels is a good option to go. i didn't really see a hit in mpg, as by many that changed to ex wheels. so i suspect getting other 16" wheels work also.

Re: Body Kit HCH II
I really love the way the HFP's look at the civic body. I am unable to see the last image... is it the gray-blueish Hybrid with HFP rims ? (if so, can you fix it please so I can see it)
I am on the edge of purchasing a set of HFP's for my HCHII, but have no idea how it would look with the color civic I have.
Now with the loss in MPG, would you lose that much MPG just with a tire size change ??? With the change in tire size, wouldnt the tach be off by a little ?
