Just Curious if anyone knew of someone who got a civic hybrid for cheap in los Angeles?

Back last year at this time, there was no such thing as cheap in LA. Every dealer wanted $1,000 - $3,000 over MSRP. I believe it's much better now. Take a look in the thread called "How much did you pay for your HCHII". Good luck!

ps. I bought at Weir Canyon Honda in Anaheim Hills... and got mine in March for MSRP, but I had help from a friend at Honda headquarters.

With no more HOV decals (currently) I would not pay a penny over '$500 over invoice' today - or try to go lower. Contact 3 or 4 dealers via Edmunds.com and throw out that offer and one will bite after a few e-mails back and forth.
