They just cashed my check on the 26th...its going to be great to finally get my stickers!

 

Just as an FYI for every one.

I mailed my application on 1/5/06 and just received my stickers on 1/27/06. Sticker number is 47,8xx.



Looks like they are getting pretty close to the 50,000 mark.

 

I'm wondering if anyone has actually used the magnet method to attach their stickers to their car?

If so, how has it worked for you?

 

The bumpers are platic.
Magnets won't stick to plastic.

 

Yes I learned that when I first tested my car with a magnet. Then I discovered a magnet does stick to the quarter-panels. Also the trunk. But I know the stickers are supposed to go on the bumpers, that's partly why I'm asking.

 

I thought the limit was 75,000...when did that change?

 

my check was cashed on 1/10/2006, and i call Air Resources Board at (800) 242-4450 to check if they know when will i receive my sticker. they told me it would take up to 12 weeks for the sticker to arrive. however, some people in this board has receive their stickers in 2-3 weeks after their check was cashed. i am wondering should i trust them, and they dont even have a number that i can call to track my application. anyway, if taken up to 12 weeks, that sounds like too long for them to send out the stickers!

 

My check was finally cashed on 1/27. I called DMV a day before that to inquire about my application. Anyway, they called me back yesterday and said that my stickers were issued on 1/26 and I should be getting them any day now!

I called 916-657-8035. It is always busy, but just keep trying. After hitting the redial button for 20-30 times, I got through!
