Well that is very normal for most Auto manufactures Mendel, don't you think? I noticed msantos got four new PCM updates on his HCH2 cars. I took a print so I can show my Dealer. My HCH is really doing its thing, so I may hold off on my own car, but if you are having these funny things going on it may be of interest to you? H

Our car is behaving for the most part, so I'm inclined to hold off on updates.

UPDATE*****

My crashes are back, suffering one a day now.......The new software was catching it before but now it seems like things have gotten out of sync, like the battery pack doesn't know its almost dead. The pcm doesn't know to start recharging it. My Economy hasn't been able to get back to what it was a year ago, I am about 7-9 MPG behind what I was getting exactly a year ago.

June-Sept 2009 Averaged 65-68 MPG Imperial (couple tanks were 70 MPG)
May-June 2010 (same weather) Averaging 52-59 MPG Imperial

Is Honda reluctant to replace the pack for you Fuelmiser? Do they feel this acceptable? Does this recal give you any problem when it happens, is it dangerously under powered or anything like that? H

We never even discussed the replacement of battery pack but now I think I may pressure them as with 27k kms this is BS.
I will be going in to the dealer in a few weeks for service so will raise it then that when the battery crashes to one bar there is no power and economy suffers.

Must be frustrating! I think I would be looking at a new Prius3.I couldn't put up with half a car. Hope they correct the problem for you. H
