2005 Manual w/ 99,000 miles
$12,900 (California HOV stickers included)
What do I need to consider maintenance wise?
Would you buy a Civic Hybrid with just under 100k miles?
Any guess regarding what the next 50k miles might bring?
Thanks.
The bonus of HOV access is HUGE where I live.

Re: 2005 Manual w/ 99,000 miles
If I could get the car checked-up by a trusted Honda dealership and a CarFax report showed nothing serious then I would definitely consider it.
If the car has a dealership serviced history then I would grab it even faster.
Areas I would look at:
- Health and state of the battery pack
- State of the exhaust and emissions equipment
- EGR valve
- O2 sensors

Re: 2005 Manual w/ 99,000 miles
My guess is that since it's only 3-4 years old those must be highway miles. The highway is, in my speculation, MUCH easier on the battery/IMA than stop-and-go urban traffic. Isn't the warranty on this car (in CA) over 100k miles? 125k IIRC?
