Easier to just swap batteries, but that may not answer the question.

Even easier to make sure it's either open circuit or about 30Ω.

Gotcha. Missed that one. I assume you've done a 12V reset, and you're not using the defroster?

I unhooked the 12v battery while the IMA battery was off. Then hooked the 12v battery up and powered the IMA battery on. No defrost. All HVAC was off.

autostop should work provided coolant temp is high enough.

I drove my insight around with the instrument cluster bezel removed (all HVAC controls, emergency flasher, etc., disconnected). Instrument cluster was plugged in, and I had no codes, but autostop would not work. Not sure why.

EDIT: cold IMA battery below 50°F may not engage autostop.

Engine temp was mid way (had been running before the trip to let the IMA battery gauge find out what the battery pack was). It was 70 degrees outside today so definitely above 50 degrees. No check engine light or IMA light.

After initial idle charge, did it do a positive recal and "march" to full?

70°? that was warmer than my spot in the PHX area.

It didn't go to full as it needed a charge apparently. But just a short trip and it charged to full (ran the 1/4 Regen when driving) Still no auto stop after showing full charge.

Yea it actually showed 77 on my Ridgeline when I went to get the other hybrid today. Crazy weather.
