I've only had my Hybrid 3 months. I drove it from Portland to San Diego to Nevada and back to Portland. It ran great except up the mountains. Zero power. Got back to Portland and took it to O'Reillys for them to put their code reader on it. He said it needs new Catalyllic Converter code P1420. I love this car but it has 210,000 miles on it. Is it worth it to put a new cat on it?

 

Aftermarket cats are available, and muffler shops can weld in cheap replacements.

 

Ok thank you! I'm thinking of fixing the cat then selling it while Its still running well. The 210,000 miles scares me a bit, but then it is a Honda! Only had it since August and know nothing of it's history. But I love that little car!

 

Unless it's been replaced recently, IMA battery will likely need replacement sooner rather than later.
