Was that a hybrid Altima? I tested one and the on/off of the motor was disturbing-unsmooth unlike a Prius. Nicer handling though.

It was a Maxima not the slightly smaller Altima. 6 cylinder nicely mated to their new cvt transmission. Very smooth, quiet and felt great on the interstate. Did well in the mountains and reasonable in some snow. Only 27+ mpg for the 1870 mile trip.

We traded our 05 Accord Hybrid for that reason. It never got decent mileage. 21 city and 38 hwy. New FFH gets 36 city and 38 hwy on avg. Much happier.
