I am considering buying a new Accord hybrid or Camry hybrid, but the local dealers don't seem that motivated for my business. I've contacted them but haven't received any calls back. If any of you live or work in the San Mateo/Palo Alto area, and would be willing to give me a chance to look at your car, I'd very much appreciate it.

I just drove an Accord Hybrid, so I can withdraw my request vis a vis the Accord. I liked it. Now we'll have to see if I like the Camry.

 

I was able to test drive a TCH at the Gilroy dealer (way south for you) at the end of May 2006. They predicted it would be sold that weekend and were probably selling them ASAP as they trickled in from Toyota. Felt it would be tough bargaining them down to MSRP.
