Mileage at First Refill(24mpg)
#11
It looks to me like I can easily achieve 42 - 45 on non-interstate highway driving - even in moderately hilly country, now that the engine is a little bit less tight.
Air conditioning, which I had to use today, appears to reduce mileage by 3 to 5 mpg.
Also, having my signficant other at the wheel reduces mileage 3 to 5 mpg - throttle is too sensitive compared to previous car

Everyone, thanks for the tips and comments.
Jason, thanks for adding in full support for the Accord Hybrid! Hope you had a great trip.
Extex, it sounds as though you are getting some great mileage. You are posting a lot of miles and it is great to see how the car does under different conditions. I'm looking forward to some warmer weather in the Spring. Short trips in cold weather are rough on the mileage.
Regards,
Mike

You are getting great mileage now - what sort of numbers were you getting in the first several tanks? I am still averaging 25mpg overall after 600 miles. It has warmed up a little bit here but is still hovering just above freezing.

My car is in the database, but the first tanks were 36.1 and 33.3 mpg.
The cold weather and short trip length while I was "up north" cut mileage by approximately 10 mpg.
I have another trip this week, and the weather is forecasted to be in the 50's, so I should have a couple more tanks posted by Sunday.
