Anyone know if an 05 HAH can be sliced into to install a sunroof or was there some different wiring or something up there that was moved for the 06+ roofs?
I know there's a guy somewhere that does Prius roofs so the HAH should be ok, no?

 

You *should* be able to have a sunroof installed by a competent shop. The only reason the '05 didn't have one was because the engineers were trying to shave off several pounds. No sunroof, no spare tire, aluminum hood...

 

With all your high dollar mods that you're asking about, you'll probably be best served by just selling your '05 and buying an '06 or '07 with a Navi and moonroof already installed...

 

I had a friend who got an aftermarket moonroof in a pickup. Turned out nicely! I am feeling old, cause I remember when that was "the forbidden mod" due to leak issues and such. Course, back then, to get a hybrid, you just waited till your car ran out of gas and walked, upping your miles per gallon.

Sigh.
