Default 20-80% rule

The rule of thumb is to charge your ev battery to only 80% most of the time. If a battery is rated at 82 kWh but the software won’t let you use more than 77 kWh is it 80% of 82 or what you have available I.e. 77kwh?

You need to consult the specific manufacturer.
