Using 12V battery more often during startup - 2008 HCH
It's starting to get colder in my region, with lows in the 40s and highs in the 60s. The last couple days I've noticed that my HCH used the starter and 12V battery to start the engine instead of using the hybrid battery and 20HP motor for startup.
Is this a sign my hybrid battery is starting to go out? I haven't noticed as much use of the starter in past cold weather. I'm currently at 85,000 miles and I am the original owner.
