here's to hoping, i've had several 50-60+ degree days here with no change in behavior from the IMA system in my civic. So frustrated with the car, i've pretty much given up on it and been driving my camaro and wifes van instead and left the civic in the garage.

 

As far as I know, the HCH2 always acts like that while recalibrating, even without 09-058. Mine is a stock 2007, no firmware updates at all. When recalibrating, it does not do auto-stop. In fact, when stopped it is feverishly trying to charge the battery during the recal process. Like 3 or 4 green bars worth.


I do plan to get 08-014 (harsh trans engagement), because that is annoying to me.

 

I have a 2007 that has never auto-stopped during recal. I get them pretty much daily nowadays, and unless a dealer updated the software without telling me I've never had one applied. I assume there's no way for anyone other than the dealer to know what version of the software the car currently is running?
