Thump while braking
Hello Everyone,
I recently noticed that there is a big thump when braking fairly hard, but not hard enough to trigger the anti-lock brakes. The sound comes from the front of the car, and it sounds like something hit the underside of the hood. Its a bit hard to explain.
I have an o7 civic hybrid with roughly 24k miles. I talked with a friend who test drove a regular civic and she told me that was the same sound that she experienced when she test drove the car (and that is why she did not buy it).
Anyone else experiencing this? Any idea what could be causing it? It really doesn't sound normal at all. I am at 10% oil life so I will be bringing it to the dealer next week anyways, I just want to know if I should mention this issue.
Thanks
