Default Tell me about your Regen behavior

We've owned the HCH for a little under two years now and I am a little concerned about the regen. It seemed when we first bought the car that it would regen almost immediately after starting up if I let my foot off the gas, or if I used the brake. Last winter, it seemed like it was taking longer and longer for the regen to kick in, but I wrote it off due to the cold weather.

However, now that temps are normal again, it still takes a long time a before I see regen. On my commute this morning, I drove 1.9 miles before seeing my first green bar, and I had auto stop not long after seeing the regen kick in. Is this normal and my recollection of immediate regen wrong, or is my car getting slower to regen?

That sounds like my 2006 HCH11. I can get regen early by shifting into # two. H

Mine is 2 months old and takes about 1.5 - 2 miles or so until the regen starts. The morning temps have been mid 50's here in NJ. I think you're ok.

Cool, I guess I just remember it kicking in sooner.

Thanks!
