I pushed my 06 to the point where i ran out of gas....I thought i could make it to 550 miles but with the hot weather/ac on, i was wrong... How bad is it for the engine to not have gas with the engine on? The engine boggled and did rev but i didn't want to push it....

I don't think it will be a problem. Just don't do it often! H

 

With today's fuel pumps, running out of gas isn't the problem that it used to be with a liquid-cooled pump. If you notice any problems with (unusually) rough acceleration, have the fuel pump checked.

 

So, How many miles did you get before running out of fuel?
