My wife will shortly begin driving the HCH II (which means I get the I2 now) and is already missing the iPod integration and built in bluetooth that came with the Insight. I've been looking at options it seems that Parrot offers the best alternative for the HCH II with navi with their Mki9200 built-in system.

Has anyone installed this? What are good locations to mount the display? Can the Parrot (or another bluetooth system) display on the navi head unit?

I looked at the OEM honda HFL but I'm not overly impressed for what it costs, especially since it offers no integration for iPod or other devices and Honda's Musiclink is a poor substitute at best.

 

FWIW, I have an 06 non-Navi w/ a Parrot LS3200. The unit was $240 and I had to cough up an additional $75 for a wiring harness. I had my local retired Honda tech-guy install for about $250 more. So out of pocket was quite a bit more than expected, but the Parrot works so well, I'm looking to install one in my Accord Hybrid, too.

Forgot to mention, the mic runs up the A-pillar behind the trim and peeks out where the trim touches the headliner. There's a bit of a gap between the plastic and liner, but not an 'annoying' gap.

Thanks for the pics! I like the placement of the screen. Do you have a pic of the mic placement to clarify? I just don't want it to get caught by the side airbag.
